As you all probably know the Sabres are down 3 games to none in a seven game series. But, are they our of it? Or can they come back with 4 straight wins. They lost the first game as a blow out game. They lost the second game in overtime after Danny Briere scored a goal with 5 seconds left. And we recently lost the last game after being shut out and losing 1 to nothing because we couldn't get the offense going. Boston Redsox 4 Straight Homers

Last night the Boston Redsox beat the New York Yankees for the 3rd time in a row, the Yankees went up 3 to 0 early in the game only to be baffled by the Boston Redsox 4 straight homeruns... Kids shouldn't be "treated like kids"

Have you ever heard the phrase "Being treated like kids?"
In my opinion kids should be treated just like adults. What is so different about kids or so bad that we always get stereotyped with the few bad kids. We have little to no opinion on almost everything in the United States. Kids get jobs, kids have opinions, and the stereotypical kid that causes trouble in malls and has no political opinion, is a rare kid to find. Kids, especially teens should have an opinion of what goes on in their country because they are the future of the country, and the future of the world. You can only live for so long, so why would you want to wait 18-21 years before you can actually make a difference in the world you are going to be living in the rest of your life?

Regents Exams

Regents Exams... No one actually likes them, the kids don't like them because they have to take them at the end of the year, and they know that doing good or doing bad on them can really affect their life. Teachers don't like them because they have to plan their entire schedule around them just so New York state can view how the kids are doing instead of just taking input from the teachers. I could go as far as saying that New York state has a lot of issues with these tests.
I think that at the end of the year instead of having a regents exam that the teachers have to plan around and that they don't even know whats on them we should take a test devised from the teachers, so that way their won't be any "Bad Questions" on the test and so that the students can be fully prepared for whats on the test instead of the teachers hoping that they taught the right thing. That makes it so that all the kids have to do is pay attention in class like their supposed to and they will do good on the test! To say the truth, why do we need an end of the year test? They are a very inaccurate form of seeing how much a student learned this year. A student could not understand a question, or they could get nervous, or not know what to write about. There should be another form of finding out how much they learned, because a question on a test only covers one part of what a student learned, and some questions are repeated many times. Regents exams are a very bad way to see how much a student learned. In what job do you ever take a test to see if you have been paying attention to what you learned?☺ ☺ ☺ ☻ ☻ ☻ Ná7£

Gambling

How is gambling bad? How is gambling good? Those are 2 evenly asked questions. Gambling can be both to say the truth. But what do you think it is more of?
Gambling, to many people is just a fun pastime, it is just a way to have some fun, and there is always a chance you can win money while doing it which makes it even more fun. To other people gambling is not a fun sport, but a life draining, money wasting trap, and they believe that it should not be legal.
In my humble opinion I believe that anyone should have the right to gamble, no matter how good or bad you are at it. It is true that some people are compulsive gamblers, and they lose a lot of their money at casinos because they gamble too much. There are also people who buy tickets to sports games when they don't have the money for that, but that is no different. All gambling is, is a fun way to take an educated guess, with a little bit of luck to attempt to win. Gambling is just a fun sport if done right, but there are a few exceptions, some gambling that shouldn't be allow is betting on illegal things or things that shouldn't be bet on, such as fights between people, animals, or other illegal activities. ♥♦♣♠
