Have you ever heard the phrase "Being treated like kids?"
In my opinion kids should be treated just like adults. What is so different about kids or so bad that we always get stereotyped with the few bad kids. We have little to no opinion on almost everything in the United States. Kids get jobs, kids have opinions, and the stereotypical kid that causes trouble in malls and has no political opinion, is a rare kid to find. Kids, especially teens should have an opinion of what goes on in their country because they are the future of the country, and the future of the world. You can only live for so long, so why would you want to wait 18-21 years before you can actually make a difference in the world you are going to be living in the rest of your life?

I think being treated like kids is ridiculous... we should be treated like adults..... lost train of thought.. lol
Maybe i'm not just a typical old adult, but personally I treat people like they act whether they are an adult or kid. There are a lot of high school kids that I truly see as young adults and give them the respect and freedom they deserve. On the other hand, there are some high school kids that prove everyday that they have a whole lotta growing up to do. You know it!!

I agree with mr. turton. Some kids deserve that respect, but others don't. And it's those kids that need a lot of growing up that mess up everything for the kids that are more mature because, im sure the government is thinking why should we trust immature teens to make decisions for our country. You make a good point here.
Yea i agree wit Mr. T. Kids need to be treated with the same respect they give out. And it's kinda sad to see they way some high school kids treat not only their peers but their teachers and parents too.
